Jon Wylie
President, Global Natural Resources

As President of Global Natural Resources, Jon is responsible for the worldwide operations of mining and metals, building (construction) materials, energy, and oil and gas. Jon’s functional knowledge spans the delivery of productivity improvement projects, with specific expertise in behavior change and improved execution of operations. Jon joined Proudfoot in 1987 and has more than 30 years of mining, minerals, and metals experience.
Cay Mims | Vice President, Natural Resources
Cay Mims
Managing Director Natural Resources, Americas

As Managing Director Natural Resources, Americas, Cay brings her expertise to the business development and delivery side of our Americas Natural Resources business: Mining and Metals, and Building Materials. In her strategic role, she also works with Proudfoot’s leadership team to develop and align practice capabilities with the needs of our clients. A geologist by trade, she has more than 20 years of mining, investment banking and consulting experience in exploration and project development; mining and process operations; and project finance and management consulting. Cay’s commodity experience includes base metals, bauxite, coal, diamonds, gold, industrial minerals, platinum group metals, silver and uranium. Her clients consist of top-tier global mining companies, as well as mid-tier and emerging producers from all over the world. Over the course of her career, she has worked in Australia, Africa, the Americas and Asia.
Helder Santos | Natural Resources
Helder Santos
Managing Director Natural Resources, EMEAA

As Managing Director Natural Resources, EMEAA, Helder is responsible for business development and delivery of our projects in mining and metals, building materials and energy across Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia. Helder has global experience in more than 100 client companies. He has been responsible for identifying improvement opportunities for major organizations and designing business solutions to deliver significant financial and operational transformation. Project themes have included safe and predictable operations, increasing throughput, enhancing maintenance effectiveness, lean mining, solution based coaching, supply chain management and organizational change capability through leadership and people development. Helder has a degree in Chemical Industrial Engineering and an MBA in Management, and speaks fluent English, Portuguese, Spanish and French.


Duncan Manuel | Managing Director, UK and Ireland

Managing Director, UK and Ireland

As Managing Director UK and Ireland, Duncan oversees our client engagements in the United Kingdom. Duncan has 20 years’ consulting experience, predominantly focused on the design and delivery of results-oriented business transformation programs in the manufacturing, utilities, and energy sectors. As a result of his work with both pure-play implementation consulting firms, and Systems Integrators, he passionately believes that the delivery of quantifiable outcomes should be at the core of all consulting engagements, with sustainability delivered through behavior change.

As Managing Director DACH and Central Europe, Peter oversees our client engagements in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Peter joined Proudfoot in 2001 and has an exceptional track record with a variety of companies across multiple sectors – most notably manufacturing, natural resources, business services and financial services.

Jacques has over 20 years’ experience, in industry as a former CEO, and in management consulting, specializing in business transformation. As a Managing Director in the United States, John is responsible for business development and client engagements. John is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of management consulting experience developing business, digital, operational, and people strategies, designing and implementing transformational solutions, and facilitating diverse groups to drive measurable results. He is an expert in large-scale business transformation and performance improvement, including profit improvement and cost reduction. John has established durable client relationships, displaying deep sales and business acumen, building high performing teams, and establishing himself as highly relevant with Industrial clients.

As Managing Director Africa, Joel is responsible for the South African operation and oversees our client engagements in the Africa region. He has more than 15 years consulting experience and has managed multiple engagements in petrochemical, manufacturing, telecom, natural resources, financial and FMCG sectors. The engagements range from large scale transformation project to niche bespoke solutions. His design and implementation expertise include Strategy, Operating Models, Change Management, Process, and Management Systems.

Having originally joined Proudfoot in 1991, St.John has been delivering transformation programmes for Clients for 27 years. Initially based in Europe and Southern Africa, he was directly involved in project design and delivery. For the last 13 years, he has been Hong Kong-based and developed a strong client base throughout Greater China and South East Asia. He is proud to lead our enthusiastic and passionate local Proudfoot teams who create great partnerships with our Clients to deliver outstanding results.
